thyssenkrupp Elevator (Hong Kong) wins Airport Safety Recognition Award
thyssenkrupp Elevator (Hong Kong) received the Corporate Safety Performance Award at the 2017/18 Airport Safety Recognition Scheme organized by the Hong Kong Airport Authority. The Scheme is held annually to recognize the airport community members and frontline staff who demonstrated exemplary safety performance during the past year. Organizations achieving safety targets with a sustainable safety performance were also commended.
thyssenkrupp Elevator (Hong Kong) received the Corporate Safety Performance Award in the corporate category. And our Senior Mechanic Man Kei Ho was awarded Best Safety Supervisor.
Commenting on the award win, Franky Wong, Safety Manager said that “the goal of zero accidents has been achieved through the internalization and execution of H&S being the top priority for all employees regardless of their role”. Wong added that in addition to group-wide safety campaigns, the Hong Kong office also organized some fun and inspiring activities, such as safety poster design competition and interactive safety booth for kids at company Christmas party to engage employees and their families to reinforce a safety culture, both at work and in life.
