ThyssenKrupp Elevator is responsible for the ThyssenKrupp Group’s global activities in the area of passenger transportation systems. With 42,500 employees, sales of 5.3 billion euros and customers in 150 countries, ThyssenKrupp Elevator is one of the world's leading elevator companies. The product range comprises passenger and freight elevators, escalators and moving walks, chair and platform lifts, passenger boarding bridges and quality service for the entire product range.

The business is organized in six operating units, four of which concentrate on the regional elevator business (Central/Eastern/ Northern Europe, Southern Europe/Africa/Middle East, Americas and Asia/Pacific). The other two, which operate globally, are: Escalators/Passenger Boarding Bridges and Accessibility (chair and platform lifts, as well as smaller elevators for private homes).
